I am trying to copy and paste from one email to another and outlook will not keep the format. This is the new outlook app so there is no File tab like suggested in every other answer.

There seems to be a new development in the last month that has solved the problem (for me at least). Like others have said, immediately after you paste in what you want, at the end of the material you just copied in you see this:

When you click the chevron to expand the list, it gives you these new options (not the three clipboard icons everyone else is referring to above in this chain):

Choosing "Paste as is" gives me the same formating (including spacing, font, colors, etc.).

    Finally!

Thank you Frajman Tomas for posting about the same issue I am experiencing with the Copy/Paste function in the New Outlook which was what I wrote about when I started the chain of posts. It is different than what the other MS Outlook users having been describing.

I have a template saved in my Drafts section which, in the Classic Outlook, I could paste an exact copy into a new email. As you noticed, Microsoft took that function away.

I used Outlook's Feedback to alert Microsoft of the Copy/Paste issue hoping to get a response. Apparently, they do not read these posts.

When I did that, I received an automated response which was disappointing.
