Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
It hasn't been fixed. It has been 'resolved' - MS doesn't give a f*&k about us.
How can I mount a data file (pst) in new outlook. In the classic version this is doable through the File menu which is not available in new outlook.

Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

2025-01-21T20:44:26+00:00 This is incredibly aggravating! Now you force everyone to use NEW outlook, and it won't support local data files? You need to fix this now. I can't believe Microsoft actually did this. Stupid stupid stupid!!!!!!!!!!
I am currently looking for an alternative to Outlook, as I absolutely do not want my data files hosted on the cloud.

2024-09-18T21:26:22+00:00 I want to add my name to the chorus lamenting the lack of PST files in the new Outlook.
I and my company were beta testers for the original versions of both Exchange and the Outlook client. I have been archiving my emails annually to PST files for the last 26 years. I make regular use of these files, especially for the more recent years. These PST files are both useful and efficient to me. The idea of importing those files into an OST boggles my mind.
Gotta have PST files. Plus there were a bunch of other irritating shortcomings or changes that I didn't bother to list since I bailed out within 30 seconds when I realized that PST files were not supported.

2024-08-26T15:00:27+00:00 Hi, I'm confused by this reply. It seems to simply explain how to open a PST file in the old version of Outlook. For those of us who have messages archived in PST files, but want to start using the new version of Outlook, are you saying that there isn't a solution at this time?
