How can I mount a data file (pst) in new outlook. In the classic version this is doable through the File menu which is not available in new outlook.

Need to create a pst file and upload a previously created pst file into outlook. This was an effortless exercise in classic outlook with readily available option in File menu. How do I get to that functionality in the new outlook.

You can now open a .PST in Outlook New, but functionality is still fairly limited:

This only works on Intel processors...believe it or not..."Outlook Data Files" is not supported on my Microsoft Surface Arms processor machine! It gets a different build! :(

Outlook Classic will be supported until at least 2029, there is no urgent need to switch to Outlook New at this time. You can now open a .PST in Outlook New, but functionality is still fairly limited:

    It works.

Go to "Dispaly/Show" whatever it is called in english

    Show settings

    Outlook data files

    Add file

And you can add .pst as read-only

But you can't do things like see mail headers etc. It is pretty limited.
