Hotmail keeps asking for my password. My password was correct. I still changed it. It keeps asking for my password nevertheless. Not only is it very annoying but it also keeps me from using my iPhone properly because that pop-up blocks me all the time I have read some of the answers you have given to people with the same problem. You only answer by asking questions. Every time they answer your question you ask another question. So no answer to be found anywhere. Just more and more questions. If you have to ask me questions, please ask them all at once. I really don’t have time for ping-pong. Thank you.

    If you are using an Apple product (IPad, IPhone or the like) and the Apple mail application.

    Go in to settings

    Select Mail

    Select Accounts

    Delete old account

    Select add account

    Select Outlook.com (Make sure you select OUTLOOK.COM not EXCHANGE)

    Input email address (Next)

    Input password (Next)

    You will be using modern authentication and no longer get prompted for password.

    My IPad has been working OK since doing this

    etc....

    WOULD IT BE ACTUALLY DELETED ?

    I MEAN WOULD THE NEW ACCOUNT BE SAME ?

    WOULD I BE DELETING MY PRESENT ACCOUNT/ U CALLED IT OLD ACCOUNT?

    BY NEW ACCOUNT , WLULD I ACTUALLY SET THE SAME CURRENT ONE & THE SAME CURRENT PASSWORD ?

    THEREFORE WOULD MY CURRENT ACCOUNT BE RESTORED AFTER COMPLETING THIS WHOLE PROCESS ?

    I have just done this, and thankfully when i added my email via Microsoft, EVERYTHING came back as before, nothing got deleted.
    So you go in and delete account, then add account, (if your on iphone or ipad, its the outlook email, if your on a laptop its the Microsoft Exchange one). you use your regular email address and password. Nothing needs to change...Its been almost 24 hours, and i havent been asked for my password yet. 🤞🤞

    Yes! When you add all your emails, folders etc, come back the exact same! :)
