Hotmail keeps asking for my password.

Hello, today Microsoft sent out information to me email regarding this. No more access to old systems, action needed and known issue. It's horrible, I even had problems logging in to reply here. Here is the link to Microsofts message today:

"The safety and security of your information is top priority for Microsoft. To help keep your account secure, Microsoft will no longer support the use of third-party email and calendar apps which ask you to sign in with only your Microsoft Account username and password. To keep you safe you will need to use a mail or calendar app which supports Microsoft’s modern authentication methods. If you do not act, your third-party email apps will no longer be able to access your Outlook.com, Hotmail or Live.com email address on September 16th.

So, no modern authentication no mail!

The only way so far I've found to get around this on an Ipad is by.

Going in to settings

Select Mail

Select Accounts

Delete old account

Select add account

Select Outlook.com

Input email address (Next)

Input password (Next)

I have done that on Ipad, iphone, and Macbook Air...i thought it worked, then next day i was promoted for password again, and multiple times a day have ever since :(
