Outlook 2013 will not retain password for my hotmail account - Microsoft Community
I am using Mailbird and I can no longer authenticate my outlook email address. I contacted Mailbird and they stated they have been getting constant calls of outlook authentication issues and that it is a Microsoft issue.
Outlook 2019 is having the same problem. The Mail app on iPhone still works for my account.
I was just about to report the same thing. I'm using Outlook 2019 and the problems have been going on for three days now. I'm constantly being asked to enter my user data umpteen times in a row.
I have now excluded the account from automatic mail collection for the time being.
Having same problem from 2 days ago, Outlook 2016. password or app password both not working. This happens across all my 5 desktop computers all with up to date WIn10.
(Fortunately hotmail still works on cellphone and web platforms, or this would be a much bigger problem. Forwarding to gmail works and it is my temporary solution but feel it is becoming permanant)
