I have this problem - Outlook 2016 doesn't accept password or app password - and i think it is a growing World wide Microsoft problem :-(

I have 2 PC's with HOTMAIL accounts in Outlook 2016 ...
They both have this error.
I do get mails ... but I can´t send mails. Yesterday it did work for 1-2 hours ... but right now the error is there all the time :-(
Please help me.

Thanks Pierre. I can repro the problem of not being able to connect with Outlook 2016 MSI using Modern Auth. I was able to connect with an App Password but I don't have the MicrosoftAccount******@outlook.com. I will follow up further and let you know what I find out.
It also stopped working in Gmail app in Android. It was required to create an app password but suddenly stopped working from yesterday. Even creating a new app password doesn't resolve this. I'm out of my email and contacts and calendar in my phone in the meantime. :(
This issue has been escalated to the Outlook Team and its being investigated. I posted a Known Issue to acknowledge the issue, Outlook and other apps are unable to connect to Outlook.com - Microsoft Support.
Same issue in Outlook 2013 too.
