Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Mine has had no prompts for 2 days. I was just testing some stuff on my wifi network with my phone, switched between several SSIDs, mobile network, disconnected and reconnected my home internet, etc. Then I did get a prompt, but I tapped it, and it went away and is working fine (where before it would immediately say check your credentials, and I'd have to bounce internet on the phone to get it to work).
So still not quite how it was before, in the past it never brought up anything like that even when I did similar testing etc. But at least now it is accepting the credentials right away (message probably would have gone away on its own).
I wish Gmail android would support modern auth for exchange and not just IMAP. Don't really feel like using the outlook client. Guess we'll see if they ever get it all sorted out and clean. At some point we'll all have to use modern auth and 2FA so if Gmail doesn't get with the program (Samsung's email client works fine with it) may have to switch to the outlook app. I use it for my work profile and it is just too bloated and clunky to use for personal email. Maybe the "lite" version is better.
