Outlook 2016 doesn't accept password or app password

ISSUE

After updating to Version 2401 Build 17231.20182 Outlook stops connecting when using the Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) protocol.

So, in other words, the issue will not be fixed. As I am a paying customer for Microsoft 365 family I insist that you help me with the following situation.

I use BlackBerry Hub+ Services to connect via EAS to my outlook.com personal account. This worked for years. As stated in the BlackBerry knowledge base, it already supports 2FA: https://support.blackberry.com/pkb/s/article/93703

But his is only for work and business accounts, not for personal accounts. I do not want to use smtp or other protocols to connect to outlook.com, I only want to use real synchronisation with the features of an app that supports universal inbox (eMail, Messenger, other programs). And I do not want to use outlook app because it does not support a universal inbox as BlackBerry Hub+ does.

So is there a way to get EAS like synch working with personal accounts in a third party application?

Edit: BTW, as a second question independent to the one above: My girlfriends account is working. Its only my account not working. Please also have a look into this. My personal account is used to be part as guest in an organization and therefore an alias was created to auth with this organization (...@onmicrosoft.com) via my personal outlook.com account. Perhaps this is also a fact why I cannot use the services as intended.

I will never use "New Outlook" PWA due to security and privacy concerns surrounding the way it works as a proxy especially for non-MS accounts configured within it. While being criticized by some, this is precisely why those of us who understand this PWA proxy "client" have been discussing concerns regarding "New Outlook", because it is repeatedly being suggested while being very different from traditional e-mail clients that access accounts directly.
