Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Well.... that only lasted about a day, I am back at square one again! It will not accept my credentials AT ALL today, and I cannot access email through the Office 2013 Outlook software.
Well, I finally got my popups chased away.
By not accessing hotmail in Outlook 2013. Ironic that Microsoft doesn't support Microsoft. So... I can access my hotmail accounts in anything-but-Outlook 2013/2016. In order to do this, I had to remove my Exchange accounts, change my Microsoft alias and profile, and NEVER PUT THEM BACK in Outlook 2013/2016. I must access those accounts elsewhere.
This is by design, folks. Microsoft is doing this ON PURPOSE. This is so they can charge all users indirectly for what MS promised NEVER to charge them for. One way or another, they will find a way to try to force us to use their storage, and pay them for it. To use their software and pay them for it. Except now, like gasoline, it will be a regressive charge, and one you have to KEEP PAYING. For them to increase/add to at their whim.
My advice is to stop trying to get legacy Microsoft systems to work. Stop wasting your time. Find a way to get things to work OUTSIDE of the Microsoft machine. They have no desire to help you get them working.
I will certainly be on the watch for the inevitable class action.
