My email does not have the toggle option in the top right corner to get the classic outlook back. There is no longer the old outlook in the store either. I have also tried the steps in registry editor and that didn’t work out either.

It is not because you're not suggesting how to get back to the old Outlook but to the Mail and Calendar app which is something completely different

It seems you have found a work around, but if you want a much easier solution, simply search on youtube "timbo tube outlook guide" and you'll find my very simple 3 minute tutorial. It takes about as much time to do it while watching :)
keep looking you will find it. took me quite a time. watch out as mine started with word 'calender' not outlook.
