I use the Outlook web app on MacOS, and selecting text word by word no longer works (shift + option + arrow on a Mac keyboard). This stopped working sometime this weekend. I tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and multiple Macs (Two different MBAs and one MB Mini). I tried it on a PC and it works fine. It seems that something broken on the web app for Mac users over the weekend.

This is a critical shortcut for things like copying and pasting or deleting. Anyone having the same problem and has an idea of what to do about it?

I used TamperMonkey on Firefox / OSX, and made a few tweaks to avoid upsetting the TamperMonkey checks:

Thanks Ben, have edited my post to tell people to go to yours.

I did see after posting that people prefer match to include, but I got no warnings about anything on Tampermonkey/Chrome/OSX so left it.

Thanks for getting this going, I am a religious user of shift + option + arrow and agree with several others that the web-based Outlook interface is great, so losing this shortcut has been infuriating as I make TONS of text edits this way while writing emails, my workflow has slowed significantly and my patience dwindling lol Thanks for the other users bumping this issue, and I'm glad to see Microsoft is working on a solution. I just used shift+option+arrow to edit "working" b/c I typed it "woring"— what a useful shortcut to lose! LOL

I highly recommend the TamperMonkey solution that was offered above.
