I use the Outlook web app on MacOS, and selecting text word by word no longer works (shift + option + arrow on a Mac keyboard). This stopped working sometime this weekend. I tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and multiple Macs (Two different MBAs and one MB Mini). I tried it on a PC and it works fine. It seems that something broken on the web app for Mac users over the weekend.
This is a critical shortcut for things like copying and pasting or deleting. Anyone having the same problem and has an idea of what to do about it?

I don’t recommend. Outlook for Mac is buggy. Messages not being sent consistently. That’s why I switched to browser based version. But now, the keyboard shortcuts are killing me.
Thanks. Good to know - the webapp (and I made a desktop chrome app out of it for an emulated app experience) has served me well until this keyboard shortcut snag.
This is just to say that it is really frustrating to work like this.
Ok, we're slave to the email clients, ok... but at least, let us use it as expected, please!
I just want to add to the chorus of people here that emails have got significantly more annoying to edit on Mac.
the issue persists. please, for the love of god, just make it normal again. i'm begging now. the command and option keys should do the same thing in Outlook's online email client as they do in every other place on a Mac. they should just do the same thing
