Why are all my "sent" emails ending up in Draft Folder?

I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but does anyone know how to stop this from happening? I end up double checking my actual Sent folder to be sure my new/response emails did get sent, and not hung up in Draft folder.

Thanks!

Patricia

I too have given up on Microsoft Outlook app. Despite much human help from Xfinity, and removing and adding the Xfinity email back, and letting the system sit for over 24 hours before adding it back to remove all old settings; the MS Outlook will not send, will not receive emails. Useless!

How to get the old Classic Outlook installed? Tried to download and MS pushed out 365 along with it. I uninstalled the 365, but Classic Outlook presumably is still an installed app.

I have been having this issue for one user only i have been able to fix the issue but it keeps coming back below it what i have tried

Currently this machine is running Win11 running Classic Outlook!

New mail profile / outlook data file repair using SCANPST.EXE.

Quick and full office repair has been run

    sfc/ scannow

Looked at the outlook log files which showed me nothing.

Created a new Windows profile which has not worked.

Tried outlook in and out of cached mode which gave me the same issue.

Has anyone been able to get a more Permanente fix?

Thanks for the helpful advice. I have searched for "outlook options" and not found. Seems not to be under settings. Detailed how to find outlook options with the Win 11 OS, much appreciated.

Well... it seems to be working fine now. I´ve changed:

Outlook Options / Mail / Automatically save items that have not been sent after this many minutes: 8 (standard was 3)

Hope it keeps running well and it helps you guys.
