Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that your email system is unable to connecto their email system. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.
For Email Admins
This often indicates the recipient's firewall SMTP fixup setting or other firewall settings are preventing the SMTP protocol negotiation from succeeding.

I cannot ask all my contacts that have yahoo or sky accounts to change their firewall settings. There seems to be a problem with Microsoft!

If it is going to re-occur, we need instructions that a 'norm' person can understand, not just network Admins.

If you've done absolutely nothing, your issue wasn't related to custom domain DNS records and it may happen again.

Yes I can now send emails to friends on Sky here in the UK.
I guess an issue has been fixed with anything being said, but it works and that's all that matters.

Fixed for me too. I have done nothing and am a very simple mail app user. They have finally realised that they have messed up and ended up preventing most of their customers from sending emails. Can’t say if it was Microsoft or yahoo caused the problem but for now anyway I can send emails from my outlook account to my sister at yahoo. 🤞
This seems to have been fixed for me. Was not working over the weekend and this morning but emails sent to yahoo accounts yesterday morning arrived just after midnight and one sent this morning arrived as per normal.
The only thing I did was rotate my DKIM keys.
