Why does Microsoft Outlook keeps constantly asking for Password. I even had to change my password thinking it would help. It didn't. Even after I enter password, still continues prompting me to enter password. Just does not go away. And it is also affecting my account with Spectrum Roadrunner to perform other functions that I was able to do without having to enter a password. This problem just recently started and Spectrum can't help since it's a Microsoft issue causing the problem. Tried to get help by calling Microsoft by using the recommended website since I'm unable to get a live person to talk to, but the website Microsoft is directing to go for HELP wants to charge a Fee plus a monthly fee. We purchased Microsoft. Didn't use to have this issue

I have done all the above removed reinstalled - deleted profiles deleted profiles from registry reinstalled rebooted driving me insane.
MS sort it out -
This is a pain for sure I thought as much a pact caused this as it was present on 2 different computers. I have downloaded the latest office patches.
Deleted profile reinstalled outlook
Emptied registry key for this cache and rebooted 4 times and now finally its not prompting me every second this has been a very difficult issue.
I've worked as a systems engineer for 25 years the answer is a stock answer - I can only assume this latest patch fixed it
thanks

Nope, all of these options did not helped me. Still I get prompts from Outlook to submit the password each time I open it. Other accounts in Outlook dont ask for the same.
I would like to refer to Your point 3: "Disable the Always prompt for login option: Open Outlook and navigate to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. Select your email account and click Change. Click More Settings, then navigate to the Security tab. Uncheck the box next to Always prompt for login credentials and click OK." - in my case all these settings are "grey"/ cannot do anything about it. I cannot change it. On the other hand the box is uncheck, so thats not the issue.
I started to have these prompts without any actions from my side.
Hi Konrad Frontczak,
You can try a further option which is to reinstall your email account. Before doing this, delete the email account and its files in the Outlook folder, delete the credentials (it's best to back up the email account's data before deleting). Then reinstall the email account, add a new profile. It worked for me after all those options failed million times.
All the best !
