Calendar Sync of Office 365 calendar to Tripit

Hello

I have been using Tripit for years and it has successfully sync'ed with my Outlook Calendar. Today, I was unable to add the updated URL for the tripit calendar feed to my Microsoft 365 Outlook calendar. When I tried to add the URL under "add calendar/from internet" by pasting in the URL, I get an Microsoft error message that something went wrong. This did not happen previously.

    Thanks for posting this Orange Fox. Has anyone had success doing this on Outlook for Mac? I cannot find this setting anywhere on either the desktop app or on the web.

    I have received the same reply from TripIt support indicating that this is a Microsoft 365 issue and that it needs to be addressed by Microsoft. I really question whether that's the case. This feature was working just fine in Outlook 365 until I had to reinstall Office and then try to re-add the TripIt calendar. Also, if the web subscription calendar feature wasn't working at all in Outlook 365, I would have to think that there would be many, many other instances where people were having this same issue (with non-TripIt calendar subscriptions). That doesn't seem to be the case. It really looks like TripIt hasn't bothered to make certain that this feature has been compatible with Outlook since Outlook 2010!

    Having the same issue. Am a heavy user of Tripit organizing all of my trips, and the agenda feed into my MS calendar was a very helpful tool. Kindly requesting Microsoft to fix this problem asap.

    Based on your description, you could not add Tripit Calendar into Outlook for Windows with error after pasting the URL. I would like to cooperate with you working on this case. To clarify this case, please kindly provide us your Outlook version with product details by going to Outlook > File > Office Account and share that entire page screenshot with hide personal information. What version of Outlook do I have?

    To narrow down this case, please check following workaround as shared:

    1. Firstly, you may this Microsoft article to correctly add and import calendar as reference: Add and import calendars
    2. Then you need to make sure if Secret address in iCal formatURL is correct to copy from your Tripit Calendar side. If possible, please test with new URL generated if working or not.
    3. You may try to restart Outlook as well as Windows system and check it again. If not working, please try to update to latest version of your Office application and then test again. Outlook works best when it's up to date. We recommend setting Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Bug fixes, new features, and performance enhancements are released regularly. To install the latest Windows and Office updates, see Install Office updates.
    4. Then you may try to re-create another Outlook profile and test it again.

    A. Quit any Microsoft 365 programs that are running.

    B. In Control Panel, choose Programs and Features.

    C. In the list of installed programs, right-click Microsoft Office 2016 or Microsoft Office 2013, and then choose Change.

    7. If this case still persists, finally, you may try to re-install the latest version of Office 365 application and check if working or not.
