I cannot copy a complete e-mail anymore and paste it in a new e-mail.

Are you giving a solution or Pain, it takes seconds in the older version to copy and paste. Now you are giving the route of full surgery for simplest task.

Its very disappointing that one of the key feature is removed.

The other issue is, we can't copy attachment now, we need to download then attach.

Can't believe Microsoft can do such blunders.

its so annoying.

The issue you're experiencing is likely due to the new simplified ribbon in Outlook. The simplified ribbon only shows the most frequently used actions, and copying an email is not one of them. However, there are a few workarounds you can use to copy and paste an entire email:

Method 1: Use the keyboard shortcut

1. Open the email you want to copy.
2. Press Ctrl+A to select all of the text in the email.
3. Press Ctrl+C to copy the selected text.
4. Open a new email message.
5. Click in the body of the email message.
6. Press Ctrl+V to paste the copied email.

Method 2: Use the "Save As" option

1. Open the email you want to copy.
2. Click the "File" tab.
3. Click "Save As".
4. In the "Save As" dialog box, select "Outlook Message Format (*.msg)" as the file type.
5. Choose a location to save the email message.
6. Click "Save".
7. Open a new email message.
8. Click the "Insert" tab.
9. Click the "Attachment" button.
10. Select the email message you saved in step 5.
11. Click "Open".
12. The saved email message will be inserted as an attachment into the new email message. You can then double-click the attachment to open it in a separate window, where you can copy and paste the text.

Method 3: Use the "Forward" option

1. Open the email you want to copy.
2. Click the "Forward" button.
3. In the "Forward" message, press Ctrl+A to select all of the text.
4. Press Ctrl+C to copy the selected text.
5. Open a new email message.

This sucks! Disappointing isn't descriptive enough.

I often copy emails or have others copy emails for several reasons. As a cyber pro, I often need to retain the original message headers when researching email. These get lost if you forward it or copy the content. I also often copy emails (the entire email) for documentation or e-discovery purposes. Any other handling of the message causes the loss of evidence.

The old feature needs resinstated. I use have to have the full email message with any attachments for business reasons/backups in our records. The fact Microsoft removed this feature is frustrating. Additionally, i can no longer drag & drop it into our CRM which use to be super easy to do vs. having to open up to paste the upload. Your solutions you gave are not what the origional poster was asking for. Please work on fixing this blunder.

This is very disappointing to hear. This was one of the major functions me and my teams use in Outlook and now it is no longer available. May I ask why that functionality was removed? This is not an upgrade in service offering.
