I cannot copy a complete e-mail anymore and paste it in a new e-mail.

Hi, I am using the most recent version of Office 365 Outlook, and since I updated to the new layout, I am not able to copy a complete email anymore.

The only option I have is to copy and move the email to a certain number of preset folders. However, I mostly use this function to copy and add the email to an ongoing but different email thread. It seems that this not possible anymore or at least I don't how to do it.

Thanks for anyone's advice.

Okay, I found a workaround as of now. You can drag/drop the email to your Desktop like the old way. At max, it will ask for security approval to download such files and you just need to click Yes.

Once done, from there you can drag/drop to application of your choice. Hope this helps.

    Regards

Welcome to the new world. You will find yourself paying more for fewer features and the features that do exist will vanish without warning or explanation.

You're stuck in the Windows world though and can't leave.

Orwell missed this exact example, but he got the overall tone right, no?

    Dear Microsoft team

The new Outlook is a trash for many things as its opted to remove many excellent features which made outlook better professional mailing app compared to the peers. Now the new outlook is even worse than the competitors and I request to keep the old classic outlook as the official microsoft outlook app.

Recently while responding to a firm where I have edited the attached word document without downloading and sent him, it was noticed that the attached word document doesn't reflect the changes saved. Hence I have to go back to the old classic outlook and redo the same thing where I have editted the attached word file and saved, which successfully was sent and reflecting with the updated word document with the client.

I will never ever prefer to use the new outlook, which is a failed design or prototype. Pls revert back to the old outlook.

    Thanks & Regards

    YND

    Hi Microsoft Community,

For some reason the Copy and Paste feature in Microsoft Web is not working again. I am trying to copy something I pre-wrote in word to web outlook. Please ensure this feature is always working Microsoft because I have a disability and these features are essential for productivity!

    Happy New Year to all!

    Dear MS,

What good it adding all of the extra keystrokes if it still does not accomplish what the user needs.

I want to copy and attach the email previously sent and attach it to a new email, starting new message string. With the older version of Outlook, all I had to do as right click on the mouse, selecct copy and then go and past it as I would any other document to the new email message.

All if the extra keystrokes and or other paste suggestions you note don't give me, the user and sender, the same ability in the previous version of OUtlook.

    What is the fix?

    Thanks, Greg
