Hello again,
Sent emails have disappeared from sent inbox. This issue has been for at least 3 weeks now.
I need all my sent emails that disappeared back in sent folder as soon as possible.
Please I have tried everything and checked all folders in email no where to find these emails.
I do believe it is a glitch and a bug in the Microsoft Outlook system. Can someone from Microsoft please look into this and contact me as soon as possible.
I have posted many times and no one has contacted from Microsoft I tried calling and a recorded voice automated machine says help is gone online. This has become a big joke!! I need HELP!!
I type hotmail in google and click login on Outlook and I sign in, I have had no issues in the past just recently noticed emails disappeared.
I need my emails as soon as possible.

My problem was not with sorting the emails in my SENT FOIFER; my problem was on Thursday, August 15 2024 ALL of the emails in my SENT FOLDER disappeared. There were less than 10 or 12 emails that I was keeping as a record for various reasons. Some of the emails would have been from the day before others were from as far back as 2017.
Where did they go?
Thank you so much. It just irks me that Microsoft does not look at this page. It appears they are not at all interested in what their customers have to say, nor do they have any interest in improving their product. No wonder so many are moving over to their competition. Does anyone know how to contact the 'powers that be' at Microsoft direct - rather than us having to work through our problems?
This is helpful. On my case, I did search the missing emails. Later I found out that my emails were moved to the Archive Folder, that's why my sent emails cannot be seen in the Sent Items.
Hi ,I have had similar issues - all my sent emails after 2022 and any recent ones were no longer showing. After reading this thread and looking at other similar ones I could not get them back. I kept looking at settings and nothing came to light.
When looking at the open sent items folder I clicked on "Filter" on the top right hand corner then "Sort" and finally "Date" and hey presto the sent items all reappeared. This was previously set correctly as far as I know so it appears that maybe just refreshing the setting did the trick. Perhaps there is some glitch.
This might be totally unrelated to the issues others have been having but will still post in case it is helpful to someone.
My emails were permanently deleted. No way I can recover them. And I noticed another important email in the inbox disappeared again recently. I have to say bye bye to outlook (hotmail) what I used almost 30 years. Just like I said bye bye to InternetExporer and chose chrome.
Are you referring to filter from here as shown in screen shot below? If so, its sorted correctly. Glad that it worked for you!
