Errors when sending or receiving email in Outlook.com or Hotmail

there are no error messages, it started yesterday morning, no incoming emails, and cant send email, i emptied my inbox and junk folder reset password. still didnt work, have checked settings and all seem to be correct. it worked for 2 incoming email then back to no emails.

lost a whole days pay as i need email to log in to system. and it looks like today is going to be the same. very frustrated

Hi in the past week any emails I send from my hotmail account to yahoo accounts are being returned. If I send emails from my work outlook account to these same emails they go through. Is yahoo now blocking hotmail emails? I have attached picture of error message it get.

Based on your description, it appears to be that you are unable to send and receive emails in your Outlook.com or Hotmail account. There are a number of possible reasons why you are not able to send emails. It could be due to the server issue or something else. Let's work together to find a solution to this problem.

I would like to inform you that in the last 24 hours, several users have reported such an issue. Specifically, it's about sending an email with a PDF file as an attachment. Microsoft was aware of the issue and our engineering team had already worked on the issue. And as of today, this issue has been fixed. Please check at your end if you can now send emails.

However, if this is not related to your problem, I would like to ask for this information;

• Can you provide us with a screenshot of the exact error message? In this way we can see a bigger picture of the problem.
• Does this happen when you send emails to all of your contacts or just to a specific email address?
• When did the problem start?
• Are you sending emails with an attachment?
