New Outlook - Completely Sucks

I too am seeing hesitations in Excel. I too believe they have complex beasts they can no longer manage and really need to start over but without penalizing the customer's w/o making us take a huge step back while they work on rebuilding these apps. I'd rather have a functional app that pauses/hesitates sometimes then a hugely scaled back/down version of it that doesn't hesitate.

With their having moved most to a subscription model they don't really need to keep finding things to add to each app to justify peoples continuing to upgrade. Maybe that will prevent these rebooted versions of teh office apps from becoming over grown behemoths within 5-10 years

I agree. I lost the ability to access my work account and to copy emails from one of my two personal accounts to the other.

I'm a frequent user of Excel, which often becomes unresponsive when I make simple edits like cutting and pasting a single cell of of information to another.

That I found the latest Outlook "upgrade" to be unusable suggests to me that Microsoft management is have growing difficulty controlling and evaluating the development of their increasingly complex and sophisticated applications. I guess that the volume and complexity of code is beyond manageable. AI, actually doing something useful??

Rick - This may vary based on your company's setup, any restrictions IT has in place but you should still have a slider in the top right area of OL that if you slide back it will revert to the real OL and not this web based wanna be cheap mobile like email app knock off.

How do I get rid of the "New" Outlook and install a prior version? This is so confusing and difficult to manipulate.

I do not want an "App" for my laptop. I want the Outlook software that came with Office.

I had no idea that Office no longer incorporated Outlook in the package.

It sucks because half of my emails are no-where to be seen, only because I went directly into my gmail account, is how I found them
