New Outlook - Completely Sucks

Not the worst. It wrecked Skype by trying to make it a chat site rather than a communications service, and opened the door to Zoom. This is comparable - they have a preconceived notion and impose it on customers. Their focus nowadays is on data services and their retail operations are an afterthought. They should sell them.

I'll leave Microsoft altogether if they dont get Outlook sorted. Not that they'll notice.

I am sorry I don't have a link. I was just browsing on the web and Microsoft just offered me the option. Here is the file I got, I copied it for you from my download folder. Be warned the file takes a long time to finish the install. It probably is a different version of OfficeSetup with the old Outlook added. It works but is not exactly the same a little different but no problem.

OfficeSetup (1).exe .I found no versions of the old Outlook file are the same.

Dear MS, If you wish to replace an application (developed over 20+ years) then make it functionally equivalent.

Until then don't bother with trying to push the turd that is the new Outlook onto people to test.

  The new Outlook is on my brand new computer with MS version 11 and no choice for the old, Using the new version I can’t find and miss important email with all my mail being mixed in with the junk mail. It even could not properly read an important email from my brother. Fortunately, I have an older laptop computer with Window 10 using the original Outlook. The new email version that had problems reading an email completely, was handled with no problem on the old version thank goodness. I am going to use my old computer with the Windows 10 version for reading all my email from now on. If MS does not make it possible to revert back to the old version I am going to use another program for my email so I don’t have to switch between computers, or give me the old version back. Your programmers obviously don’t use your email program, if they did they would not have written this useless new version, get a new team or rehire back the old guys to fix he problem. It needs a complete rewrite which will take too long for satisfaction. If you stay with this new version you are going to get a lot of angry users and help your competition. I also prefer Windows 10 and don't like 11,all this is even making me seriously think, forgive me about Apple.

Are you the person at your company who decides if you renew your license for Microsoft products? If no then all you can do is hope for the best because like the rest of us you don't matter to Microsoft; only those who renew the licenses do. You will get the assistance of some half-useful (on a good day) AI/Bot or if you're real lucky you'll get a real person in a foreign nation who goes by the name John or Susan (not their real name of course) whom you can barely understand. Otherwise you, like the rest of us, are the digital equivalent of land peasants to Lord Microsoft.

I completely agree. I was made to move to the new outlook due to a calendar syncing issue and I tried it out, giving it a go. It was terrible:

• Cant add a new person to an email without resending all (ended up spamming 170 people because of this)
• Meeting invites are busy, hardly any room to write a decent well laid out message. Not useful for work communications
• cant build pictures in an email. I had to go out, put it together in a separate document and paste back in (this was a short how to for employees)
• I have about 20 email folders for my work, quickly filing things was a nightmare, all my folders are not on the same page. Visibility is terrible, I had sore eyes and wasted time scrolling up and down.
• doesnt tell me how many emails I have in inbox, and hard to see the situation at a glance, again, scolling back and forward
• Its clunky, makes me unproductive, a terrible tool for work.

I am back to classic outlook even with the weird calendar syncing issue, I can get through much more work quickly. I hope we are not forced into new outlook. Ok for occasional web emails/personal. Not for work.
