Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

I think so. You just need to delete your current account and start over and it's been working fine for me since they fixed it a few months back. I also didn't delete the outlook app on my phone I installed when this problem arose as I found I like the additional functionality that you don't get with BB hub. Pixel 8 Pro.

Thanks. At this point, with the updates to the Blackberry app, I am confused whether to delete it and add the account back with the regular password or with an application password. Which is it.

It is working fine for me on a Moto Edge 2022. What is the problem you're having? Is it possible you're not using the correct server settings?

Neither. The ideal way is to tap the "Sign In With Microsoft" button, and authenticate using an authenticator app. I use Microsoft Authenticator. If you are adamant about using a password, it's best to use a generated app password rather than the regular password, but I'm not even sure if either password option is supported any more.

Delete your Microsoft email account and start over. App passwords won't work or they won't work all the time - you'll still get every once in a while, an issue being authenticated.

So in summary if you're still having trouble:

    1. Make sure you have MS authenticator setup for your email account
    2. Delete your email account in BB hub
    3. follow the steps I outlined above and re-setup the account using the sign into Microsoft account and verify with authenticator
