Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

The Outlook Team has updated the guidance about this issue, Outlook and other apps are unable to connect to Outlook.com when using Basic authentication - Microsoft Support.
A key take away is that everyone needs to work towards being on apps that support OAuth for Outlook.com. If you are using Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016 an immediately available free option is to install the New Outlook, Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Apps. We will continue to update the guidance with learnings and status updates as we go.

2024-02-24T04:53:20+00:00 This is really depressing that we as users won't have the option about whether we want to continue to use our apps and Outlook together. It is forcing us to use apps that are less user friendly and useful for what we want.
Do you know the timeline for when this transition and loss of support will be complete?

So, just to make sure I understand, the only way this will be resolved for Hub+ users, will be if Blackberry are able (or can be bothered) to update their app to support OAuth?

2024-02-24T09:38:17+00:00 Using Tnunderbird 115.8.0 (64-bit) I cannot send email from my @outlook.com using that OAuth2 setting, only by using Normal Password. So that information is either incorrect or there is a fault.
