Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

Yes ... deleting and reinstalling means you may never be able to add it back. Some folks above seemed to have gotten lucky but I have tried for 3 days.

It seems like if you are patient your phone will find that rare window of opportunity and reconnect. So just wait, and if you get the annoying popup to update your password, ignore it.

You can add it back through POP (IMAP not working for me, perhaps same issue). But you won't have access to your contacts, or calendar items. Oddly enough the phone still had my old Outlook calendar items from before I removed the outlook account.

Same issue here that started a few days ago. Glad I read this thread because I was about to delete the account on BB Hub and re-install. Seems like that makes things worse. Samsung Z Fold4.

Been having problems with the Hub+ App for a few days now; Password needs updating (when it doesn't); Authentication failure change your settings etc...

I use the hub on a galaxy phone and tablet, I've used it for years (since leaving Blackberry for Samsung), never had many problems before.

I've deleted the app reinstalled it, changed passwords numerous times, changed my Hotmail to 2-step authentication and back again. I can sometimes get it to work for a while and then it's back to Password needs updating. If I ignore the password msg, it often resynchs.

Been less than impressed with Blackberry support to be honest, I've heard nothing back from my emails.

I'm hoping this issue isn't going to see the end of Hub+, but not sure how much effort Blackberry will put into a fix if Microsoft decide this authentication setting is their new standard.

Both my wife and I have the same issue on our BlackBerry Key2 LE phones.

However, we use Thunderbird on our laptops and we are experiencing the same thing with authentication issues.

What we have found is to ignore the authentication messages as the emails eventually com through. Sending emails will sometimes show pending, but eventually go through.

I logged in to Outlook.com and it shows it is connecting both from Thunderbird and my BlackBerry Key2 LE.

I hope it gets fixed soon on Microsoft's end. I have always liked the tight integration of the emails, calendar and contacts so I can save it once and access it all from my other devices.

According to RWI-Andriod's earlier post, Microsoft are working on it. Their link re-posted below. I'm not holding my breath........
