Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

    Well, it keeps logging me out. It is intermittent. I enter the generated password and lasts less than 24 hrs. I lost the count of how many times I have logged in my Microsoft account and log back in again.

    10 Feb, 8am (UK) its only happened a few times in the last 24hrs, so getting less frequent. I mostly just ignore it now, clearing the change password message without even attempting to insert the password. I reverted back from 2FA, purely because when I was trying to insert a password, it was easier to use one I knew, rather than go through the process of generating one; also, 2FA made no difference to the problem.

    One thing I am trying to keep an eye on; I have a couple of Hotmail addresses, the one that ends in .co.uk is the one that seems to cause the problems; the one ending .com I don't think has had the same issue.

    I'm giving it another week and if its still happening, I think I will start migrating over to google email. The Outlook app works fine on my devices, but it doesn't suit my needs, Hub+ does.

    As of right now, 02/09/2024 19:18 In BB HUB I deleted my Microsoft dot live account and then added it again in HUB while using the Microsoft app password because 2FA is on... HUB gave me the "didn't work error" but then I just hit back to settings and it worked! The screen with all the Microsoft Exchange Sync settings came up. And is now working. Hopefully it will last...

    Hi Saxacat,

    Thank you! I don't know how I missed that, but it worked on the second account.

    Although I have been able to connect on 2 phones, to 2 outlook accounts, there are still issues:

    • On one phone, account was deleted and readded to Hub and seemed all was fine. However, I only retrieve email for the past 30 days using my outlook account. Other accounts are retrieving emails going back much further. I do not see a setting in Hub that controls this. I will monitor to see if it just holds the prior 30 days emails over time.
    • Other phone had account deleted and difficulty readding for over a week. Finally, readded account and all seemed OK but then all folders with the exception of 'Outbox' disappeared, so no incoming mail, however I can send an email through Hub using the Outlook account with no problem. I'm hesitant to delete the account again So, things are better but not normal. Whether this is still a Hub issue or a Microsoft issue, not sure but I suspect it's still MS. Hopefully MS support is still monitoring this thread since many are still having trouble.

    Hi RWI-Android,

    There is a setting in Hub for email synch time frame;

    If you go to 'manage accounts', select an account, you can scroll down to 'email sync time frame' (I think the default setting is 30 days) you can select 'forever' and you will hopefully see all your older emails.
