I agree that the issue was caused by Microsoft, however, other apps work without a problem. BB Hub+ is not a 'courtesy', product, I pay to use BB Hub+ with a monthly subscription, it is not a huge amount, but nevertheless I am paying for a product that at the moment, is no longer compatible with my email provider; whereas a free app like Samsung mail is working with any problems.

Dom, that's what I said to them but I also understand their frustration. Microsoft already acknowledged that it was their issue and their solution or workaround is not sufficient and now people jump on BlackBerry who didn't create the problem. Only Amazon allows you to enter original password or a device compatible with 2FA. BlackBerry is long gone, they are not in this business any longer and when they shut down, as a courtesy they left the android compatible apps up and running until it is time to shut them down because they don't even make Android phones anymore. Only Security systems for auto, airplanes, etc. I assume they keep the hub and other apps for corporations and android consoles for cars, others.

So the problem is specifically between BlackBerry Hub and Microsoft Exchange.

Right now, BlackBerry Hub's notes are decreasing drastically due to this problem and people download more Outlook App in order to compensate....so can you please find a solution or is it in your interest to keep this incident running in benefit of your App ? :)

I agree, there's no problem with other email addresses on Hub+ and Outlook email has no problem on other productivity apps. But although MS is ubiquitous, my reaction is not to abandon BB but to ditch as much of MS as I can for my personal and my private business use - so, another email provider, Open Office for documents and spreadsheets, and I'll probably go back to Linux for my OS. I hate a bully, and this problem arose not because Hub+ changed but because Outlook did. Outlook has suggested workarounds that work only partially or not at all but has not fixed the problem - almost as if they're trying to rid themselves of a rival, however niche, and force everyone to use their system only.

This is a Microsoft problem, not a BlackBerry problem.

like you say, you need to be a subcriber, to submit a support ticket to BB.

Reviews of BB Hub+ app on Google Play Store is another way to report user dissatisfaction to BB, that this once excellent email/calendar etc app is no longer working properly with Outlook, since the Jan 2024 authentication changes.

More recent reviews on Google Play Store are negative with complaints about the Outlook authentication isssue. There have been some BB replies to some reviews that they are aware, but not saying any more.

I don't want only Outlook email on BB Hub+, I want both email in/out and calendar. So I am not interested in email only work-rounds that have been posted elsewhere in this thread.
