Using Outlook for Android for personal email and calendar management
That shouldn't matter. xyz @ hotmail.com and xyz @ outlook.com are essentially the same.

Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

I've never used app password. Regular password worked for me for three weeks now. I guess it depends.
Hotmail will keep logging you out after 24-48 hrs If you are lucky. You need to start all over again with IMAP and rename your Hotmail.com for outlook.com. Hotmail was phased out last year by Microsoft. All your incoming emails will arrive safely in your outlook inbox folder but your outgoing emails when using Bbhub must be sent as outlook.com. I advise you to broadcast all your contacts and ask them to change the domain from hotmail.com to outlook.com when sending you emails.
I just follow the normal prompts for setting-up a Hotmail account. I'm not going to jump through hoops to get an app working that I am paying for; if BB can't be bothered to update their app to work with Microsoft's new procedures then I'll just bin Hub+ and use the Outlook app or the free Samsung Email app.
I've already suspended my payments for the Hub+, will give it till the end of March, if nothing's improved by then, BB is gone.
Regular password will log you out in less than 48 hrs. It must be generated and best bet is IMAP port 993, outgoing 587, starttls. Tap several times and it will lig you in. Then go to outlook, turn off and turn On again Sync calendars and contacts. Also, check If your device sync successfully in your list of devices.
