BlackBerry android devices or any Google device can't connect to outlook server

Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

Thank you so much, I tried many things including from this thread and THIS was the only thing that worked for me!!

Thank you for ending the waste of time it has been to try to fix this issue.

Microsoft said that they are monitoring the servers and disabling authentication occasionally with the "old" auth method to hinder attackers. That's why you see your Outlook emails in Hub sometimes working, sometimes not.

A permanent solution would be for BB to switch to 2auth (or whatever the "new" auth method is called). There is no ETA. So in the meantime, setting your Outlook email in Hub via IMAP (as described in my previous post) is the only solution if you want to continue using BB Hub. 2FA won't do anything.

Using Tnunderbird 115.8.0 (64-bit) I cannot send email from my @outlook.com using that OAuth2 setting, only by using Normal Password. So that information is either incorrect or there is a fault.

This is really depressing that we as users won't have the option about whether we want to continue to use our apps and Outlook together. It is forcing us to use apps that are less user friendly and useful for what we want.

Do you know the timeline for when this transition and loss of support will be complete?
