I tried the new Outlook sind a week. So far it worked with my my 7 email accounts. I also could opening the settings window. But suddently since yesterday when I click on the settings the window is opening but empty. I only see the text "loading..." but nothing happens.

I tried to repair, reset and even uninstall and reinstall it again. Nothing helped. Even though the uninstalled warned me that all data are removed, after installing it again, all acounts were visible again... can I something delete the synced acounts in the cloud?`What can I do to be able to opening the settings again????

I also had the issue of the settings window stuck on 'loading...' - I believe the cause, for me at least was having an office365 email account setup that I removed from the server. (i.e the mail account no longer existed in office365).

The only way to resolve was to remove the contents of: \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Olk and setup the new Outlook again from scratch.

Some one at MS needs to check why the settings window gets stuck when there is an issue with one of the accounts.

Update: One day later, the settings window can't be opened again. The workaround seems to work only temporally. @Microsoft: You really need to solve that bug soon before it is rollout for everybody!

Thank you for your help, unfortunately nothing helped. I still can't open the settings. Can I somehow clean uninstall the new outlook? the normal uninstall doesn't seem to clean up everything because after reinstallation it showed all my accounts again including the favorites, so I guess somewhere these informations are saved

I also have second Problem, when I try to send an email from my one account in the new Outlook I get this error message:
    Technical details

SmtpSubmissionPermanent5XXException: Smtp submission failed. Server 'smtp.1blu.de' Port '465'. --> Unexpected SMTP server response. Expected: 235, actual: 535, whole response: 535 Incorrect authentication data Failure code: cf24

I guess the reason is, that the smtp Server expects a username instead of an email address. In the old Outlook I could enter this but in the new one I couldn't find a way to enter a username for login to the imap and smtp server, I could only enter a password

    HI,

    Thank you for your response.

In the new Outlook, if you're still unable to find the settings might as well try to access it in browser. Somehow, others find it as another workaround.. However, if you’re experiencing issues or have feedback regarding new outlook feature , here are some steps you can take:

    1. Feedback and Feature Requests: If you find that the spell check isn’t working as expected or if you have other suggestions, consider providing feedback through the Feedback Portal. You can create a new post there to share your thoughts and help improve the new Outlook experience. Visit the Outlook Community Feedback Portal to contribute. Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support
    2. Patience and Improvements: Keep in mind that the new Outlook is still a work in progress, and Microsoft is actively enhancing it based on user feedback. Your understanding and patience are appreciated as they continue to refine the application.

    Thank you for understanding,

    Ciarra BD.
