hate the new outlook that is replacing win mail. any alternative that is similar to win mail that is simple and fast to load?

this is probably worse than the decision to remove group all at task bar and so many people refused to upgrade to win 11 because of that. what is Ms thinking?

Thanks!!!! I am looking for a replacement and will check it out. Change is good when it is positive but change just to change something so people can justify their jobs is not positive.

Update to my email of Feb 22nd: I thought I'd be switching between Outlook and Thunderbird regularly to compare the two, but Thunderbird seems to work so well that I use it all the time now.

Looking ahead to the 2026 Classic Outlook cliff edge: does anyone know if Mozilla and Thunderbird work OK with the Google Flex OS on a Chromebook, please?

You’re running both email clients at the same time?

Ok. Now I'm hating Thunderbird. It hijacked the default email client function and using the windows control panel default programs doesn't change it back to Outlook. If I uninstall it, Outlook is the default(all of my business information is in there.) If I reinstall it, any of my programs that generate emails pop up the emails in Thunderbird. NOT what I want. Trying to find a fix, but it seems I'm not the only one with this issue by far.

I tried Debian 12 Live on my computers (laptop Lenovo yoga 380) and fully compatible, even the touchscreen based on Wacom. It even flips as expected. Alla natively without installing any drivers.

Try different distros live but if I were you I would stick on Debian or Fedora base.
