'New Outlook' - how to save sent emails in a different folder instead of Sent folder

I have multiple subfolders for each of my projects. When I'm sending an email in my previous outlook, I was able to assign my email to a different subfolder than 'Sent Items' before I sent the email. I now don't see that as an option. How can I do this in the new Outlook?

    up. is this already added in New Outlook as I still dont see it. this is must have function and only reason Im still using Old version of Outlook.

    I agree. I put all emails to customers into each customer folder when sending. Now I cannot do that.

    Thank you for your comment. I posted this a long time ago, and many other users have provided similar comments, but Microsoft has taken no action to implement this change. The “New” Outlook is missing so many key features, among them is this one - the ability to file a sent Email to a folder directly.

    WAKE UP MICROSOFT!

    Read all the posts here and it looks like I will also be rolling back to old Outlook versus the new and UNIMPROVED Outlook because of this missing feature. Not having this will result in a huge productivity loss for me :-(
