I am getting Emails From "Temu." and I Have No Idea What They Are

I am familiar with Temu, although I don't use it, have never made an account, signed up, or interacted with it in any way whatsoever

this started today, where I keep getting emails in my Inbox from a sender called "Temu." (I've not opened any of the emails to look at the other email to see if it's legit or not). I've gotten 3 in total, which I've all deleted

the first 2 had a description: "You have won an Temu pallets". first came in at 11am, second came in at 3pm

the most recent one either came in at 6pm or 7pm, I forgot to make note, but it had a description along the lines of: "RE: confirm your receipt"

I have blocked the sender every single time on each of these emails but it hasn't made a difference. if the third email came in at 7pm, then if I'm not mistaken that's 4 hours apart between each email

is anyone else receiving these or...why do I keep getting these? is it more likely that it's a spam email if I've blocked the sender and it keeps working around it? it keeps coming to my Inbox, not Spam

    I don't understand the thinking of these "companies"....as a direct result of their harraassment, I will NEVER buy from them again. How can they possibly think that this kind of "advertising" works???

    I'm getting around 5 per hour, I bought ONE item and I sincerely regret this. Blocking or reporting as junk or phishing had done zero. There's an unsubscribe link, however that doesn't do anything. The only other option is to "write" to them at a physical address that looks dodgy anyway, I wouldn't waste my time. I'm hoping this stops soon as I'm dreading opening my Outlook

    Same here, it is giving me the irrits. I get up to 10 a day.

    Am keen to keep on this thread so I can learn how to stop/ block them....

    Its very frustrating....

    If that's the case of transferring to gmail, then maybe it'll jack up microsoft/outlook/hotmail to eradicate them spam emails. Otherwise it'll be bye bye . It'll put them out of business. There's other platforms out there.

    I agree, this is inadequate. I have messaged with Temu and they don't seem to care that someone is using their name to send spam. I will be deleting a hotmail account that I have had for well over 25 years iif this is not resolved and going through the painful process of transferring contacts to gmail. I write new blocking rules each morning, but to no avail. Assuming that mails are being generated by an AI to bypass filters, surely Microsoft should be able to incorporate an AI detector as a spam filter.
