How can I turn on auto capitalization in the new Outlook?

I found a thread from last year where they answered with the same dumb "it's based on feedback" excuse. They've had the feedback for at least a year and still haven't fixed anything. Microsoft is Apple's best marketing team.

Thank you for your answer and for saving me alot of time. At least now I won't spend any more time trying to figure out how to activate this auto feature.

I have noticed that so many features are not available in the new outlook so I guess my question to Microsoft would be...why or why not? The features that I have needed and noticed weren't available, are basic features. It doesn't make sense why these basic features wouldn't be part of the "new" application.

Based on my test, i found this feature is not available in New Outlook preview. Please kindly understand that many functions of our current products are designed and upgraded according to customer feedback. At present, what I can do for you is to provide a workaround. Based on my tests, you can try to use below method to capitalize the letter i:

You can change the case of selected text in an email message by clicking the Change Case button.

1. Select the text for which you want to change the case.
2. On the Format Text tab, in the Font group, click Change Case.
3. Choose an option from the list, which includes Sentence case, lowercase, UPPERCASE, Capitalize Each Word, and tOGGLE cASE.
4. Choose Sentence case. Then the letter i will change to I.

Notes: 

• You can also change case by using a keyboard shortcut, press SHIFT+F3 until the style you want is selected.

I can zoom by the old method Control and wheel on the mouse :)

HOW IS THIS SOMTHING THAT WAS REQUESTED BY THE CLIENT? WHY WOULD WE VOLUNTARILY WANT TO LOOK INCOMPETENT? THAT MAKES NO SENSE AND JUST CANNOT BE TRUE.
