The converted Cox email to yahoo still uses the Cox email account name, which prevents "adding new account" in Outlook. I was finally able to change the server settings to the Yahoo settings but still can't send/receive email with Outlook. Webmail is working.

I have tried almost everything to no avail. Windows 10 office pro 2019 with most updates. reloaded office and no help. I have a article that says to use smtp.mail,yahoo.com another saying to use smtp.mail.cox ,net which one to use both say to use pors 993 and 465. NO HELP. I thing the problem is my address is ******@cox.net and for some reason the email that is transfered goes thru yahoo. Looking for exact instructions for the swithh.....YAHOO MAIL THRU THE NET IS HORRIBLE

I was hopeful when I saw this video and saw others commenting that it worked for them to get the Cox transitioned to Yahoo email account to work in Outlook. Unfortunately after following all of the steps of changing the server and ports and this time getting a Yahoo generated password for Outlook as suggested by the video, I'm still getting the message that "Something went wrong and Outlook couldn't save your account settings. Please try again." I've retired a few times, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?
