Hello - I am trying to get Outlook 'new' to stop scrolling down or snapping to the correct time of the day. It moves the whole view of the week down so that by the afternoon I cannot check what appointments there are the next morning without having to scroll up wards each time. It happens every time I return to this week's calendar after checking future weeks.
I have tried to adjust my 'working times' - that doesn't help.
Only way I can get a reasonable work around is to change the timescale to 60 mins, but that's not a great solution as it leaves everything veeery small and then I have early morning hours e.g. 2am on view constantly, which are not core office hours!!
Could anyone help me find a way around this?? Thanks!

HEY. Have you this fixed yet?? It's been over a year since this person posted this. The snapping is annoying AF.
Still waiting for a response! This is just annoying functionality.
I will change back to the old Outlook until they figure this out.
I hope we have until the end of the year.
Love all the creative workarounds folks are posting. Although I still don't understand with all the pushback why MS can't provide a solution. Seems like a simple "Lock View" toggle would provide the flexibility for both use cases.
None of the workarounds have fixed the issue. It always snaps to the current time when I open the current week.
Opening it in the afternoon to check tomorrows meetings requires scrolling every time. I'd just leave it on the calendar view, but I then I can't see my emails. And jumping back and forth between weeks to check weekly and bi-weekly meetings is painful.
Allowing locking to a specific time seems like such a simple answer.
