The New Outlook does not appear to have Field Chooser to customize Outlook Folders

Great name you have there. And how bad is this. Just upgraded or should I say downgraded today. Wish I bloody hadn't!

And FFS Microsoft at least give us the bloody option. Not force it on us with no alternative. Using a feature for over a decade then removing it because some 20+ uni student with 4 majors and 2 langues but not 1 bit of real world experience had some epiphany drinking his chai latte in his Prius. Taking more choice away. Pathetic. If i wasn't so wrapped up in your infastructure Id be out of it in flash. So glad I didnt buy another Surface Pro for 3k

How has it been over a year and Microsoft still hasn't restored the Field Chooser to the "new Outlook"? It is reasons like this that people opt not to update programs until forced to do so. Please make this a priority - it is essential to my daily communications as a Project Manager to be able to choose which columns appear in my inbox and other folders.

It is frustrating beyond belief and is why I continue to remain with the old Outlook, even though I'd prefer to switch to the newest version. Basic functionality removed, for reasons that just aren't clear or apparent. I don't have the same frustration with Microsoft products and frankly generally like them a lot. But this is a weird situation (not clear if it is oversight or a specific decision) that I've not experienced in other Microsoft products over the last 25+ years.

I completely agree with you. The company I work for have brought it in and it will be mandatory to use this version of Outlook.. No having Field Chooser is ridiculous and has made it harder to work with. How can Microsoft no add this. I hope they update it so we have this function.

Field Chooser is a critical feature that helps users to be more efficient and effective. Hard to imagine this got dumped in New Outlook. Please bring it back!
