I use the new version of outlook. The drop down menu for attachments, suggests three files; none is the most recent file used/saved. I have to go into my word documents folders, find the file, and open it to attach it to an email. How can I get the drop down menu of suggested files to display my most recently worked on file?

OMG, I thought this was just me not being able to figure out how to fix it on the "new" outlook. What a pain in the butt. Why hasn't this been fixed yet!?
I have the same issue, but cannot go back to the old version, and understand that the new Outlook will be shoved down all throats 1/1/25. Hope someone can offer a solution that does work.
Hello, same here. It is the first evet thing i noticed when I updgraded to this new outlook. I miss that functionality in the previos version.

Yes, it's not the point of this thread, but I've been getting extreme lag when using the new Outlook. Like I'll hit reply on an email and nothing will happen, then I'll hit it again and after almost 30 seconds it will register and 2 reply windows will open.
