My desktop outlook app will not open

I have Windows 11, Office 365 and use the Outlook desktop app for my email. The app has stopped working. When I click to open the little circle starts spinning for about 10 seconds then nothing happens

    I don't know anything about computers. I need help.

    Outlook keeps asking me for the password. When I put it in it doesn't work.

    I need a live agent to help me.
