Hi. Last night when I was using my Outlook mail it suddenly created two new files, e.g. OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc. It then seemed to put my last few months emails into these folders (one being the replacement for 'focused' and the other one for 'other'. Looking online I can see a brief question/discussion about this in the last few hours so I assume this is a new problem. How do I stop this happening, and why did it happen? Is it sinister? Any help gratefully received, thank you!

Hi , yes , it is Microsoft Outlook for Mac , latest . But - it is not depending on app client or version . Problem is inside Office365 structure at MS server side. We tested really clean OS and Office365 install from the scratch , several clients versions including betas . Problem is on MS server (cloud ) side.

The bug for the issue is still active and being investigated. The folders are not cleared up for everyone as they thought. The service team is investigating if any other ways to force sync to clear the folders. There is a note saying these are created as Search Folders. My peer that covers Mac Outlook is checking if he can document this issue. If that happens, I will share the link here.
I do not currently see the folders today in my outlook email. However, I do have media presence continually popping up daily on my LENOVO computer with a screen showing media present checking start PXE over IPV4 on MAC etc, etc, etc. The problem here is I shouldn't be seeing any of this as a consumer of Microsoft. The company has billions of dollars in wealth and the privacies and protections of the consumer, business or otherwise should be of the highest priority making certain these incidents are not frequent, worldwide and minimum to say the least. I think Microsoft is a great company and should work with me on a few technology projects to help, assist, and fix some of these problems.
The same has happened to me, so I have to search in my usual Inbox, which now has only a limited number of emails, also in OwaAll Focused and OwaAll Other. I am absolutely fed up with it! How do I get rid of it without losing emails?
