Hi. Last night when I was using my Outlook mail it suddenly created two new files, e.g. OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc. It then seemed to put my last few months emails into these folders (one being the replacement for 'focused' and the other one for 'other'. Looking online I can see a brief question/discussion about this in the last few hours so I assume this is a new problem. How do I stop this happening, and why did it happen? Is it sinister? Any help gratefully received, thank you!

There was a service change to fix the issue. I was originally reproducing it on Windows Mail app but it has since been mitigated there.
It is not mitigated in my experience using Mail Version 16005.14326.21830.0. and is causing mayhem!

The guidance I saw about this was to update Mac Outlook to the latest build is supposed to mitigate it, Update Office for Mac automatically - Microsoft Support. If you are able to do that and still repro, please share what build you are on, and I will share it back to the Outlook Team.

So I guess the best thing to do is ditch MS outlook and mover over to another provider
yep, problem still exists. Emails can still pop into these folders.I suppose what's needed is for these folders to be removed permanently from source.Regards
