OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc.

Hi. Last night when I was using my Outlook mail it suddenly created two new files, e.g. OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc. It then seemed to put my last few months emails into these folders (one being the replacement for 'focused' and the other one for 'other'. Looking online I can see a brief question/discussion about this in the last few hours so I assume this is a new problem. How do I stop this happening, and why did it happen? Is it sinister? Any help gratefully received, thank you!

    I have the same problem and if I manually move the mails from the OwaFV15Focused..... map to the Inbox **** they still disappear from the Inbox after a while and are moved back to the OwaFV15Focused..... map.

    I have also tried to remove the OwaFV15Focused..... map after I have moved the mails back to the Inbox but after a while the OwaFV15Focused..... map comes back and my mails are moved from the Inbox to the OwaFV15Focused..... map again.

    I only hope that my mails will not disappear completely.

    While the assumptions in the answer here make sense - does anyone know how to get an official Microsoft response to this troublesome change and what to do about it safely?

    Microsoft seems strangely silent, and I know the folks in this discussion and others like it are not usually official Microsoft spokespeople.

    Never used the "New Version," so that will not help me. Hopefully Microsoft will fix the problem.

    With the person I was helping, the Focus Mode view was already on, and turning it off changed nothing. It didn't hurt, but it didn't help either. Switching back out of the New version made the folders go away, but the user prefers the New view. The names appear to be constructed as temporary files with randomized strings at the end OwaFV15.1AllOtherjk;fajfdhfdjaslkfiw,,,,, showed up while I was trying to trouble shoot.

    MY issue is that i don't use focused folders so i have no idea why that's happening. I have manually moved my emails but every so often they keep going back!
