OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc.

Hi. Last night when I was using my Outlook mail it suddenly created two new files, e.g. OwaFV15.1ALLFocused etc. It then seemed to put my last few months emails into these folders (one being the replacement for 'focused' and the other one for 'other'. Looking online I can see a brief question/discussion about this in the last few hours so I assume this is a new problem. How do I stop this happening, and why did it happen? Is it sinister? Any help gratefully received, thank you!

    Hello Davon,

    The latest fix for this OwaFV15.1AllFocused folder issue is in Office build 16.0.17530.15010 and higher.

    The fix has not made it to any production builds yet, you can check this site to see when a build with the fix makes it into the Office update channel you’re using.

    This fix has made it to the most recent Beta channel release however. Beta is unsupported but is intended for testing purposes, so you have the option to test the fix now if you so choose.

    I don’t have an ETA on when the fix will make it to production, but since it is currently in Beta I would expect it to be in Current Channel fairly soon if testing continues to go well.

    Thanks for your help, and it's good to know I'm not alone!! It appears to be a Microsoft screw-up so maybe I'll sit it out. These new folders seem to come and go, and sometimes Outlook crashes and on restarting my inbox is empty but on refresh the emails come back again. As far as I can see deleting the new folders doesn't help, so let's hope there is a fix soon!!
