I am unable to log into my hotmail account

Good morning,

For some reason my hotmail account (************@hotmail.com) is locked out and I'm unable to log back in. I went through the recovery steps and still won't let me. Please assist. This is my account and I can't get in.

Please do not send me the link to recover as it doesn't work for me. My cell number is currently not active as I am out of the country (Canada) and I answered the questions correctly but it won't work. My password hasn't changed in years and I don't know why it still won't let me in.

    I am having the same issue. The account I created was 17 or so years ago and I use it all the time - up until a few days ago, I could no longer pick up any emails. I have tried going through the recovery process/reset password process. However, I no longer have the mobile number I used when I set it up, cannot remember the password, and cannot remember any recently used email addresses let alone subject lines of those emails.

    How do I get back into my account?

    I too I'm unable to access my hotmail account. The biggest mistake I ever made was to open an Outlook account. I try to recover it and they tell me they are sending a code to another email account and it's never received......All of the time I thought opening an Outlook account, that my existing hotmail accoung would be combined with the Outlook. Boy was I wrong.

    Microsoft has lost me as a customer.
