For some reason my hotmail account (************@hotmail.com) is locked out and I'm unable to log back in. I went through the recovery steps and still won't let me. Please assist. This is my account and I can't get in.
Please do not send me the link to recover as it doesn't work for me. My cell number is currently not active as I am out of the country (Canada) and I answered the questions correctly but it won't work. My password hasn't changed in years and I don't know why it still won't let me in.

I am having the same issues…. I got a nasty spam email last week that actually appeared to come from my email. I did not click any links, deleted straight away and changed my password. Everything was fine for a few days but now it won’t let me sign in on my iPad, iPhone or computer, won’t let me sign into my account. Just saying error.
Hello, last week I got a spam email that actually came from my email. I deleted it and I changed my password straight away and everything was fine.
Today it is not letting me log into my account, saying too many attempts have been made to sign in. It’s saying error but won’t let me restore anything.
I’m not sure if it’s from the spam email I got. I did not open any links, just deleted immediately.
I have ever had any issues with my email but I seem to be having issues since I got the spam email.
It said they had all my details and wanted me to send money to restore everything. Like I said, I just deleted it.
My new and old passwords are very secure.
Could someone please help me?
