I'm not seeing the "Read Aloud" option on the "New" version of Outlook. It's not under accessibility settings like the "old" Outlook. Seems like this feature was overlooked.

I have reading fluency and immersive reader does not help with the type of reading fluency I have. In fact it makes it harder for me to aborb information that way I have to look away if I want to understand the text making it just better to have nothing. Please bring back read aloud without immersive reader.
Please can Microsoft get this sorted ASAP.
I use TTS every day. I find it quite disgraceful and disrespectful in 2024, that Microsoft could launch a product without basic functionality for people with disabilities and/or neurodiversity.
This needs urgent attention!
It is just this simple. The new Outlook is no better than Gmail. I use Outlook because it is a much richer experience. If I lose that I might as well move to the Google suite.
It's incredible to me that this question still isn't solved, or the feature added! It's been invaluable since its introduction. Now that it exists, "Read Aloud" is a basic accessibility feature. It's essential for DRAFTING. Please address the return of this feature!
Reading aloud is at least available for received messages, although people don't seem happy with Immersive Reader (I have no comment, I don't use this feature). But I will say that if you want people to use your "new!" "improved!" versions of things, can you please improve them?
I also find this very disappointing; when drafting emails, I like to be able to hear them back. I am also dyslexic, and this helps.
I only discovered this a few weeks ago and now lost it again.
