Please remove me from this question. I decided to just forget about the email I can not recover. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
Classic Outlook will not be decommissioned until at least 2029, 6 years from now. Outlook New is web based, so you must be Online for it to work. You cannot configure Outlook New (Monarch) to work offline. Reverting to the Classic desktop app will restore your offline capabilities.
Why is the computer prompting me to reply to this?
In the standard Outlook 'Classic' Outlook, which is being discontinued in the year 2024, there is an option to click a button that says 'WorkOffline/WorkOnline'. When it shows as a grey overlay the button has been pressed. When it no longer shows as a grey overlay, the button has not been pressed. Still cannot get the red x with a round circle around it to go though and I still cannot get emails to come in properly.
