Does the button highlight change when you click it? What does your status bar say? Thanks!

    DEAR HELPDESK

I am having similar problems to the above. Spent two days trying to get OUTLOOK back online. Press Send Receive you get no option to get back on-line. Can you please advise. Which of course is impossible via email as I can't access outlook.

    ******@outlook.com

    Thanks

Log into your account in web mail to view your mail.

Can you paste a screenshot of the Send/ Receive tab?

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange? If POP or IMAP, Show Progress button before clicking the Send / Receive button so you can see if it is connecting.

Expand the Send/Receive Groups menu - at the bottom of the menu is Define Send/Receive Groups - select it and verify that offline is enabled. Click the Edit button and verify the account (only if POP or IMAP) is included in the send receive. Outlook.com and Exchange accounts should not have that option selected.

It's not easy to tell if the Work Offline is highlighted - having a separate Work Online button might help. However, toggling that button isn't helping. Desktop Outlook says it's disconnected and has exclamation marks on the icons but gives no way to fix the problem.
