What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?
What happens when you click Send / Receive button? Any error messages?
The icon always has an X on it. When working offline is enabled, the button is highlighted as in the second screenshot.
It will also say working offline in the status bar:
If Working offline is enabled, click the button *once* and wait a few minutes for it to reconnect.
I have followed the instructions but am still unable to switch off the ;work offline; function ?
What happens when you try to switch it off? Any error messages?
Can you post a screenshot of the button?
Still cannot turn off Have any ideas? Thanks so much
